Kalamazoo's Debra Romer owned the judges on America's Got Talent tonight with her cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams". The young lady Sharon Osbourne doubted for lack of confidence had the audience in her pocket with this performance. Afterward, Sharon called her vulnerable but sexy. Who does that sound like?

I tend to write songs about life experiences or things I would like to happen. I own a Gibson Songwriter guitar and it took me FOREVER to save for, but totally worth the money. Honestly I'm just waiting for my big moment to happen.

Latest News on Stevie Nicks New Album: Stevie Says Her Best Yet!

OH my god a fantastic interview today in the Santa Barbara Independent by admitted fellow fanatic Aly Comingore who gets some real meat outta Stevie about her new album, which she thinks will "...go down in history as my greatest work".

Stevie describes the new album:

It’s very diverse. There’s really, really rock ’n’ roll things, then there’s a song called “Italian Summer” that’s just a beautiful, beautiful love song I wrote when I was in Italy last year. It wasn’t even about anybody. It’s just the feeling you get when you go to Italy is just so romantic, so I wrote this song about this country that I just so fell in love with. Then there are the suffering Stevie songs. [Laughs.]

Stevie also shares her Santa Barbara concert August 4, 2010, at The SB Bowl is in honor of her little 8-year-old friend Cecilia who is battling a rare cancer. Stevie will donate her salary to the child. Angel, the both of you.

Stevie Nicks Twitter Account Hacked. Stevie's Twitter Bird is Dead.

Oh how fleeting the frenzy of Stevie Nicks tweeting. After Dave Stewart, Stevie's current producer, tweeted the sporadic messages we'd gotten from "Stevie's" twitter account lately were fake, a flurry of tweets came from said twitter account that Fox News anchor Clayton Morris created for Stevie a year ago, @RealStevieNicks. The impostor tweeter pretended to be Karen, Stevie's assistant, and offered to answer a few fan questions to make up for all the confusion.

Open mouth. Insert hook. And pull. I fell for it and was totally hosed along with a few hundred other fans. I was looking at the @RealStevieNicks RSS feed in my reader during the "Q and A" and questions were posting nonstop. Filthy bastard! How cold to yank fans around like that.

Thankfully, Dave Stewart, crusader of truth and patron saint of Stevie Nicks fans, said he confirmed the tweets were not from Karen. And so we have this letter from Stevie on her official website tonight. I hope Stevie's team at least takes time to get the account suspended. Fans on Twitter who don't frequent websites or forums won't know it's fraudulent. I think it would have been wise to try and log back in, tweet game over and close the account. At least all followers would have gotten notice.
