Mr. Robinson brings the snark and the cold shoulder in Fleetwood Mac Trades Hits for Cash, portraying Stevie Nicks as a twirling temper tantrum and all four Mac members as having sold their souls to the dollar.
Bickering aside, both Nicks and Buckingham have proved to be in good voice recently, and it’s not as if the likes of "Rhiannon," "Going Out of My Head," "Go Your Own Way" (and all the other chestnuts that placed the band alongside the Eagles and Jackson Browne as the poster narcissists for the SoCal pop-rock of the 1970s) are that challenging on the larynx. If you’ve got the green, Fleetwood Mac will flip on the way-back machine.
Well, yeah, the ticket prices suck. But if you're going to insult both the artists' work ethic and vocal skills, you better at least get your band trivia right. Read the whole article for the full serving of sour aftertaste, but commenter Justin Barasky is an excellent fan spokesperson:
Stevie Nicks never "stormed" off the stage during the Say You Will tour. She also never "swore" to not perform with Buckingham again. She simply missed Christine McVie and didn't like being the only girl in the band. Furthermore, she didn't "short circuit" the tour, the tour was initially only around 50 dates, and ended up being closer to 150. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. You prove this by citing a song "going out of my head" which is not the title of any song ever written, by Buckingham, Nicks, or Christine McVie.
Snap!
